I've worked with Destination Education for years and it's one of the BEST I've worked with so far (not planning to leave any time soon either!) Harrison has been absolutely amazing by providing local shifts according to my preferences. I've spoken to few other staff in the agency and they've all been polite! They make you feel confident and look at what is comfortable for you, eg the location, year group and preferred job role too! Due to my pregnacy and health issues I had to take a break and they've been ever so sweet about it, checking up if I'm okay and being very supportive! Also from my experience, the schools linked with the agency are wonderful as I've been to many across Newham and Tower Hamlets and had a postive experience. Benefits: - Fexible -Work around your availability - You get to experience different schools - Close to your preferred location. - Some school keep you for long term ! - Contacting the agency the way you prefer. For example via WhatsApp was very convenient for me as I prefer text over calls! 😅 Overall I would 100% recommend Destination Education UK.

Joined TWICE after they fired the useless guy who previously got paid to simply exist in the realm of their offices. Second time seemed more promising but same outcome - no contact, no replies, no work. Harrison, I’m calling you out. If he is your consultant, you’re better off joining elsewhere. He’ll reply to your messages 10-15 business days later (no joke - no reply for 3+ weeks).

Destination Education has completely changed my life! As an experienced and provenly successful classroom practitioner, I had lost my love for teaching when I had been in class full time for several years and was ready to find a different occupation; I was on the verge of trying something new. However, Destination Education called me, and unlike other teaching recruitment agencies, they invested time in getting to know me as a person, and more importantly, as a teacher, and together they helped me reclaim my love of teaching through being a supply teacher. They make the complex simple, and the daunting manageable, allowing me to be the committed professional I have always been. They are extremely professional, understanding, and excellent communicators. I have worked with them for over two years and I have never had a single problem. For me the best part is that I am able to cultivate my craft every day in a range of schools, for which I have been vetted and which respect and appreciate the work that I do. To those that are only looking for a general TA role listen up. Let me just tell you, Harrison and Ethan are liars. They hype you up providing you with lots of jobs even though you tell them your preferences. Perhaps you do not have experience with SEN or 1:1 you let them know prior and they still provide you with that kind of work. I will tell you a pro of this agency, which is they will help you by providing you with lots of schools and meet new staff and get along with them, as it is high in demand. The problem is, despite everything that you say, they only want what’s best for themselves (which is to be paid ASAP). I will give an example, in every school there will be SEN there’s no doubt of that. However, there are some that are in the EHC plan. Which requires a specially trained SEN TA to help and look after the individual & become familiar with the care plan. So what they do is, they throw you into the deep end by telling you that there is no SEN involved or they’ll tell you that is a mild autism. Next thing you know it you know you are with a severe SEN child that needs the extra support at ALL times, and you are struggling to help the child as you may not have high level of experiences. They then apologise saying that the school did not let them know and they’ll pay you extra. However, how can a school exclude very important details regarding the care and the well-being of a child???? It makes zero sense and they keep saying the same excuse and lie every single time. Which is very deceiving. They then throw in some extra money hoping that you will be okay with the lies and deceits. Ethan LIES and sends you to locations that are more than 5 miles away from your house. And like I said they provide you with wrong information and doesn’t pick up the phone which his assistant, Harrison then apologises and repeats. This is a vicious cycle. When you complain to them and tell them you’ve had enough they’ll stop calling you in the morning or whenever and stop giving you work just because you are defending yourself. It is so traumatising especially if you’re just a beginner in the TA role. You feel helpless and alone because you don’t know what to do and it can affect your mental health. There are BETTER agencies out there. This is NOT the one. I just wish someone told me about how they are so deceiving and full of lies. So please do yourself a favour and DO NOT sign up with them if you know you’re only looking for a general TA role.

I been with other agencies but this was a speedy registration - I started work 4 days later -The wonderful Harrison and Ethan are lovely to work with .
