I had my eyebrows Microbladed by Ella and I honestly cannot recommend her enough. I was so apprehensive and nervous about getting my eyebrows done and I’d been contemplating it on and off for years. I found Designing Faces online and honestly couldn’t have had a better experience or service than they offer and I only wish I’d done it sooner. I’ve never had anything cosmetic done before and was really nervous at the thought of having something done on my face and worrying what if I didn’t like it after it was done. Right from the outset Ella explained everything in detail and made me feel at ease. During the initial consultation she talked me through the process and showed me what results I could expect and I started to feel more excited than nervous. I went for my first session a couple of weeks later. Ella took her time to design a natural shape that suited my face and was very professional and kept me informed throughout the whole time as to how it was going, showing me the various stages as she worked. After I’d had it done it was definitely a shock as I’d gone from basically nothing and I did wonder if I’d done the right thing but as my skin settled down and they began to heal I realised why they say ‘trust the process’! I finally had eyebrows I was happy with and after I went for my touch-up I loved them even more. If you’re like I was and are hesitant about getting Microblading seriously go for it because you won’t regret it. Ella is amazing at what she does and a complete perfectionist and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my yearly touch ups. I had my initial consultation and it all looked great. However, when I tried to move my appointment online it didn’t work. I politely called them and they were so so rude. Told me I should have called. I pointed out that it said on their site they would respond in 24 hours ( they didn’t ) to which the response got even more rude. I couldn’t get a word in, even though I was calm, gentle and polite. The respondent was so aggressive I cancelled my treatment as I was fearful she would take her anger out on me. So much so , I lost a £300 deposit. I have no idea how good the treatments would have been but I was horrified by their appalling customer service and attitude.

I got my eyebrows microbladed by Em at Designing Faces, and it was an experience I would 100% recommend. My main insecurity, especially when not wearing makeup, for example at my boyfriends house, on holiday, at the gym or even at uni has always been my eyebrows and how thin and light they are naturally. Microblading was always a dream of mine, but Em made it a truly special experience!! Em gave me a thorough consultation, and listened to everything I wanted including colour, shape, size, and angles. She took her time and included me in the design process, and was not ready to start the microblading until I was 100% happy and confident. I did not feel pressured for time at all and was completely relaxed!! She checked up on me throughout the procedure, and I had breaks whenever I felt I needed them. When she revealed my new brows, I was completely over the moon, as my brows had changed overnight!! They were exactly as I wanted them!! Emily, the receptionist is so cute and helpful, and Ella got an amazing attitude due to her vast experience. The saloon is cosy and warm, not to mention about the cleanliness. I wanted natural eyebrows and thanks to Ella, now I am love again with myself. The only regret is that I have not been to her earlier!!! Do not delay this!
