We bought our kitchen from Design House Interiors 4 years ago. The reason we chose to go with them, was the quote was competitive, the pre sales service was really good, and the quality of their kitchens was something they promoted. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. There is a massive defect with the kitchen we purchased, all the laminate from the doors is lifting away, its only just become noticeable as it started coming away from the corners, which wasn’t visible until it spreads. This issue could’ve been there from the start, but we just never noticed. Having contacted the customer service team, they initially said they would look into the issue and would make contact with their supplier. Communication was poor, and I had to ring up/email every week to chase an update. The issue is not resolved 2 months on, and they have gone radio silent for over 4 weeks now after making multiple calls and sending emails . I feel I need to share my experience, so others don’t use this company and end up with a kitchen that falls to bits after a few short years, with extremely unprofessional customer service and after care. Please see the photo of how bad the issue is, this is just one of the doors, another 10 are now the same way! We will be taking this company to the small claims court to re-coupe the cost of replacements. We are absolutely devastated 😞 Services: Refurbishment, Kitchen design

OMG. These guys really are on another level. I can't remember having as good service from anywhere else and the pride they take in the work is exceptional. The price is excellent and they have been nothing but flexible as we switched back and forth between kitchen options. The design service has provided us with clear visuals of what our kitchen willl look like at each stage of our progress in choosing options and if anything it's made it very difficult to hoose between the options they offer! We were put on to DH by a friend and we're so glad we followed it up. The kitchen hasn't been delivered or fitted yet but as soon as it is I will update the review with further feedback. This review is about Design House Interiors in Wetherby. Our experience of the sales side of the business was good and the product is good. The after sales customer service we experienced is like nothing we have experienced before. It has taken four months from delivery of the kitchen to rectify (most of) the errors. We have had to chase and chase to get any response and to get errors resolved. Products delivered to us in error or that were unusable because they were the wrong size - including a cooker hood and a sink - were not collected for over three months (and then only when we gave an ultimatum that we would get rid of them in a week if they were not collected). Some errors we have decided to accept, including the carcass of most of the kitchen being the wrong colour. On the colour error, I had a call with both directors of Design House Interiors on 28 September last year. It was left that they would consider overnight whether to replace the kitchen because of the carcass colour error or (as I requested) consider compensation as an alternative (I asked for £500 off an £8,000 kitchen). Over three months later, I have never heard from the directors again and repeated calls/emails have gone unanswered. I think the ethos of this business is summed up by the comment made by customer services in a call; that in 12 years of business they have never paid any compensation. They are not selling a unique product, please just don’t risk using them.
