We have used Design AI for extending and renovating our home in Solihull. From the outset Andy provided a very personalised service enquiring about our short and long-term plans and tailored his suggestions to meet our requirements. He was very clear about his fees, the process and the timeframes involved. Andy is very approachable and responds very quickly to messages and email. We had a clear idea about what we wanted for certain areas of the house and Andy worked very well with us using his expertise to achieve maximum utilisation of space, good functionality as well as adding aesthetic elements. For the extension, he came up with a perfect solution that ticked all the boxes. All aspects of his work were completed according to schedule. His drawings are very meticulous, detailed and friends as well as tradesmen have appreciated them. He is very knowledgeable about the local planning guidelines and building regulations which made the whole process seemless. Whenever there was a hurdle in the planning permission, he was always on the case following it up till it was resolved. He also made recommendations for other professionals when asked but was never forceful about using the people he suggested. The building work is currently progressing and Andy has been a available when needed to offer advice. Overall we have had an excellent, professional and friendly service from Andy and would not hesitate to recommend Design AI to anyone for their building project.

We would not hesitate to give Andy our highest recommendation. We were looking at a kitchen diner project, but also involving our Lounge area too. Andy’s advice in changing the lounge configuration was inspired! In addition his advice on all aspects of our proposed project were excellent. He is a lovely professional gentleman & nothing was ever too much trouble. We had not previously used an Architect or completed a Project. His guiding hand and comprehensive information and emails were brilliant. The process with Andy couldn’t in our inexperienced opinion have gone any smoother. Our project, designed by Andy, is now coming to a conclusion and largely due to Andy’s design it looks fantastic.

We were lucky enough to find Design AI Ltd and the process has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Andy is an experienced expert in his field and his work his exceptional. He always responds to emails within 24 hours, is extremely patient and clearly has a very strong work ethic. If you are looking for an architect around the Solihull area then I really wouldn’t look any further. If you get the opportunity to visit Andy’s house you’ll see what brilliant design can do for your home. I will never need to look for another architect again! (Review Update 2022 - I have learnt that Google will not allow you to complete two reviews!) Andy has just completed a second major project for me (the last one being back in 2017). As on the first project, I found Andy to be exceptional in every area, it was a quick reminder as to why I didn't even consider looking elsewhere when seeking an architect for my new project.
