Very disappointing. I took a car key in for a new casing. The young man behind the desk (who isn’t someone I’ve seen there before) took the key and my number and was going to call me back once he checked it can be done and the cost. I already knew they replace the casing as they had done my other key. Now 8-12 months down the line I’m looking for my spare car key tore the house apart and then remembered where it was. So I called them this morning to be told they would have disposed of it! Logically you’d call the customer first before doing that, to make sure they don’t want it back!!!! Am I wrong ?????. I’m fuming as it’s part my fault, but why would I leave my number for them to call me if you’re not gonna do it. Now I’ve got to spend £250 for a new car key. I got forgot about the key as it’s my spare. Who???? throws car keys away it’s a disgrace. I should sue them but I can’t prove it. Not saying I’m not half responsible but so are they. Take your keys to a company that says they will call you back. AVOID!!!
