I visited the clinic by reference of two people as I was interested in trying a new clinic for hair removal. To my surprise the experience was far from the recommendation. Whilst not the first time I do laser no one did a testing patch leading to me getting a serious burn in my bikini area. When calling the clinic the phone was forwarded to the polite lady booking the appointments who apologised and told me they would arrange creams for me to pick up from the clinic and for the doctor to call me. I visited the clinic the next day and to my surprise the staff didn’t event want to check the burn. Upon my concern that I have an olive skin and laser burns leave permanent marks she told me they will go away with the tan (I note again the burn is in the bikini). Needless to say the doctor never called, it’s been over two weeks and clearly the area is full of white patches that need laser to be rectified. Appalling experience, unprofessional staff and on top of the emotional stress comes the additional cost of going through laser processes to correct a mistake that could have been omitted with a test patch and basic knowledge on laser intensity per skin tone. The only positive mark would be that the most professional person there was the lady booking the appointments.

I am sad to say that my experience in dermaclinic was devastating. I went for fillers as I had wasted cheeks and thin face due to exhaustion and ageing. I had 5 minutes consultation with Dr Zack followed explaining what I need and wish for. The next 15 minutes were dedicated for local anaesthetic and treatment. I ended up having what looks like a witch face with very narrow, thin chin, prominent lower jaw and still wasted cheeks and mid face. I paid over 3000 Pounds and I was told that it face will settle and I will get used to it. To my surprise, 2 weeks later I couldn’t bare to look at my face and I had to go back to him hoping I will dissolve all fillers. He inserted more ( for free) and still was really unsatisfied. I was glad to cover my face with mask even when pandemic was over and was hoping thing will go back to were it was before I went to the clinic. I am very aware that this is will upset the clinic but it took me 2 years to decide to post it. Please don’t be influenced by the photos uploaded on instagram ( mine look perfectly gorgeous) when in reality this is not the truth.

Just started laser 5 months ago and the results have been amazing and fast. So amazing that my next appointment will likely be scheduled for next year. As a person with darker skin, I was so nervous about finding a clinic that had the right laser for my skin type.
