Derek states that the turbo problem was down to a faulty actuator....not true as he diagnosed it ...i paid for a new one giving him the benefit of doubt... wish I had not as it broke down again days after with same fault. Excuses excuses excuses... never again will I go to him. He did replace a part on my van but it was just a replacement fan and nothing to be proud of. I would not trust him to fix my push bike. The one man band at this garage is not a goid mechanic... had an engine replaced due to his diagnosis and yet it broke down time and time again and he did not know what it was or what he was doing. Had a new clutch in and even that broke down due to him not fitting the clips correctly. Then he diagnosed the actuator twice when it was already a new one then he said it was the turbo. Which was not the case. Wasted time and another £450 of my money....then he had it locked in his garage for over two months saying he furlouged himself. I had to go and buy another car....then finally he blamed the fault on the ECU. Another over £400 Bill. I am collating evidence now to put my file together for small claims court. But I want to warn others about this man and his garage. Utterly hopeless and gives excuses after excuses....Also my car was damaged by him putting on and off his ramps in the workshop. And the back bumper out of line and a scratch. This is due to his over crowded workshop which is very dangerous ...its full of rubbish and health and safety is out the window with him.
