Hogarth exhibition good but poor lighting meant that, when standing with someone, either the picture or the accompanying notes were in deep shadow. Appreciate this may be necessary to protect the pictures from damage, but it was a struggle to see them. Also, the number of people peering closely at the pictures meant that it was essentially one picture, one person and so lots of waiting around until they'd finished. Not the best experience in a gallery I've had. Historical context could be better too.
