Home visit on a bank holiday at short notice. Phoned in the morning in desperation after losing my hearing in one ear due to impacted earwax. Came 4 hours later and treated both ears. 🎵I can hear clearly now the wax has gone 🎵

Not very impressed. The test was done by someone who professed to be very experienced, but thinking about the number if jobs she had within a few years left me with doubts as to why she had moved around so much. Test wasn't explained very well and was done with very noisy roadworks outside. I have since had a test elsewhere and the results were completely different.

I have had tinnitus permanently in my left ear since I had their 'microsuction' done. I whole heartedly recommend you do not do this. I'm 38 and this was 2/3 years ago. I dont know what went wrong, but I am now stuck with this ringing in my left ear for life. Definitely not worth it to have some wax removed. The man who came round told me it is safer than what they used to do at doctors with the water.... Well you are obviously wrong because I had that done multiple times before they stopped doing this on the NHS...i only had mircrosuction because they stopped this and I wouldn't go near it again. I'd like to read response from the owner to this review. And I am more than happy to verify and follow up with them as I am 100% telling the truth. Tinnitus started the moment this treatment stopped and 3 years later it hasn't gone away. Edit:following the owners response. I can accept I may be the unlucky 1, as I found you to be genuine, still I think people should not consider this to be 100% infallible. The ear where I got tinnitus, there was difficulty removing wax and it took longer, I also have narrow ear canals so I'm told. It's possible all wax was not removed, and this is why I have tinnitus there, or that they had somehow been damaged before... But I don't think they had been damaged before to this extent, as although I'm a music fan of many years.... I got tinnitus in this one ear following the procedure

SO impressed with this service and Rab was really friendly. Emailed Rab on Thursday (as I was unable to call during the day) to book an appointment for Saturday and he was super quick at replying and really helpful. Rab came to my house and was great. My ears were quite bad but the whole procedure only took about 10-15 minutes and was completely painless. 100% would recommend and use again. Thank you so much! I can finally hear properly again!!

I had my ears cleaned today, Rab was very friendly and conscious of covid safe procedures. My hearing genuinely feels three times better and I would recommend this service to anyone, worth every penny. Thank you to Rab and to Derby Hearing Centre, I couldn't be happier.

Excellent service. Home visit. At Boots and Super drug not only do you have to go to them but they didn't have any appointments for weeks, until April. One phone call and we had a home visit, same day, ears cleared, all Covid secure and a professional and friendly service. Highly recommended.
