What types of dental services are covered by your insurance plans?
Our insurance plans cover a wide range of dental services, including routine check-ups, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and major procedures such as root canals and crowns. We also cover orthodontic treatment and cosmetic procedures like teeth whitening, depending on the specific plan chosen. Can I choose my own dentist or am I restricted to a network of providers?
We offer both options. Our plans include coverage for treatment by any licensed dentist, but we also have a network of providers who have agreed to provide services at discounted rates. Choosing a provider within our network can result in lower out-of-pocket costs for our members. How does your company handle claims and reimbursements?
Our members can submit claims online or by mail, and our team works quickly to process and reimburse them. We strive to make the process as easy and efficient as possible for our members, and we're always available to answer any questions or concerns they may have. What is the process for pre-approvals or authorizations for specific dental procedures?
Members can request pre-approvals or authorizations for specific procedures by submitting a treatment plan and estimate from their dentist. Our team will review the information and let the member know if the procedure is covered and if there are any out-of-pocket costs they should expect. Are there any limitations or exclusions to dental coverage in your plans?
Like all insurance plans, our dental coverage does have some limitations and exclusions. For example, some plans may have waiting periods before certain procedures are covered, and there may be limits on the number of procedures covered in a given time period. We encourage our members to review their plan documents carefully and reach out to us with any questions or concerns.Reviews

Great income protection provider for self employed dentists, so far haven't a problem with a claim, when I have had to miss work due to sickness or injury.

As an IFA, many of my clients are Dentists' Provident members. Over the 32 years I've worked with them, they've always honoured genuine claims and pay promptly. I'd go so far as to say they are the only insurer who looks to pay claims, rather than to avoid them. Ignore the negative reviews, for whatever reason they posted, they do NOT represent the majority of their members.
