Cuckoostone Craft Distillery's Peak Heritage Foragers Blend is something special. I had a taster of it several years ago in the Garrison (Mansfield) - my local micropub. At last I now have my own bottle!!! So many flavours, but the bottle says Gorse, Bilberry, Fir and Red Clover. Made and foraged locally in Barlow, Derbyshire. I keep the tonic well away from this one - it's perfect on it's own!!

Went to visit months ago and had a long chat with the owner. On his advise Bought a couple of gins he thought would work for me including Gin is Dead. Having finally got round to opening it, the gin smelt incredible and a quick sip neat proved it. I had it as a gin and tonic and it was amazing but... the tonic (plain) hid the flavour too much! I have now had it as a dry martini (really sparing on the vermouth) and it was perfect, the taste is out of this world! Enjoy. Are they opening a tasting bar?

I have tried the Black Death, Gin is Dead and Community Garden Radio gin (both normal and pink) and they are all amazing. The CGR gin is honestly the best gin I have tasted and the others are right up there too. They are great at communication when ordering too.
