I can't speak highly enough of this very impressive B-Corp enterprise which we discovered at a holiday house in Derbyshire and took no time in stocking up on Delphis products when home. To find cleaning products made to such a high ecological standard, and with such efficacy in their action is so welcome. Gosia, at Sales, was incredibly helpful and generous with her time and advice on which products would be suitable for my needs. The safety and versatility of the range means that products can be used for a multiplicity of purposes, and the availability of concentrates and refills brings great economy to the cleaning cupboard. (A pump for the concentrate bottles for easy decanting is highly recommended). The 5 litre concentrates of Bathroom Cleaner and Multi-Purpose Cleaner are my go-tos for the main household areas. The Bathroom Cleaner can be decanted and diluted to bring a sparkle to the bathroom ceramics, and the Multi-Purpose cleaner fulfils several uses - from kitchen floor tile cleaner, to a general surface cleaner; Gosia advises it's even gentle enough to wipe down my yoga mat! In the kitchen, the Glass & Stainless Steel Cleaner makes light work of my range cooker, and offers streak-free window cleaning. The Washing Up liquid squares up to my traditional green liquid; the pump dispenser is very useful, and it cuts through the washing up grease with ease. It has a mild soapy fragrance and is long lasting in the bowl. Nearby, the Anti-Bacterial Hand Soap is a reassuring presence in these Covid times and when handling raw kitchen ingredients. It is also gentle on the hands. Delphis also make a Hand Sanitising Foam, and this is a great compliment to the Covid cleaning range, and doesn't feel as harsh as alcohol based formulations. Finally on cleaning - drainage. The Toilet and Limescale cleaner proves its worth keeping the toilet fresh and clean, and is a very good price for such a great quality product. The Drain Cleaner and Maintainer provides a satisfying fizz of blue bubbles as, very cleverly, the friendly enzymes get to work on maintaining a free flow as they feast on drain gunk. It's even safe for use in septic tanks - but be careful not to follow any treatment with chlorine based products as the point is to create a healthy ecosystem of natural enzymes to do the work - and any harsh chemical products will wipe them out the good bugs as efficiently as a renegade antibiotic. I have also used a tablet in the toilet, and it does a great job of clinging on to the last of the limescale, munching though until it's finished its work. I also use Delphis' face masks, which are washable, reusable and you can change the filters once they wear down (although the filters may also be washed with the mask, in the ingenious sealable pouch). A great deal of consideration has gone into the design of the masks and their accessories. The additional protections offered by the materials (of superb quality) and the comfort of the fitting make them the best masks I've found - and the only ones with exemplary environmental credentials. Ordering and delivery through the Delphis website was extremely easy and efficient, and I have found the products are well stocked in Robert Dyas. It would be great if Waitrose stocked Delphis products as the brand fit seems ideal, given the values of both companies are so complimentary.
