Terrible food app , their live chat is robotic and do not see the practicalities whilst considering any form of compensation. I didn't request a refund or credit , rather was just looking for redelivery of my food which the driver claimed that they left in front garden. I live in a tall block of flats with a 24*7 concierge so God knows where this garden came from. I will be switching to ubereats.

Avoid Deliveroo!!! They have scammers working for them. I had a delivery driver (Rafael) who refused to call me when he couldn't find my address. He said he couldn't speak English yet was typing in perfect English. I went outside as he said he was there but was nowhere to be seen. After 40 minutes he then asked me to send over the code to him, to which I had no idea it would indicate that the food was delivered. I had no food in the end and i did not get any compensation/refund. Never again!

Appalling. Don't train their drivers. Some drivers can't read English. Nothing wrong with restaurants. This company's management is a joke. They are just after a quick buck. Look at the model....don't permit easy access to customer service. Blame the restaurant/driver. But never do anything about training. Why? So they can call them contractors and not have to pay a decent wage. Starbucks got caught eventually. So will deliveroo.

Disappointing. Ordered Five Guys delivery through Deliveroo. The bacon cheeseburger was missing. It was a painful experience trying to get a full refund from Deliveroo. They refused to refund me the delivery fee, even though I would have incurred another delivery fee if I ordered another bacon cheeseburger. However, this experience put me off so I did not place another order. This was NOT the experience I expected for a £50 order for 2 burgers, 2 portions of fries and 2 milkshakes. I guess it was the restaurant that failed to put the bacon cheeseburger in the bag but Deliveroo’s so called “help” made a poor experience worse! They need to work on this. I won’t be using Deliveroo again. I find Uber Eats much better.

Horrendous service. Stole £20 worth of food - said it delivered and never did. Despite being a loyal customer, no reconciliation at all. Driver pretended they couldn’t find my flat, despite it being extremely easy to find and directly where the pin is, as well as having instructions to leave it at my door if needed, and because I missed his call by 4 minutes, I don’t get my food or a refund. Somehow they’re claiming both that the food was delivered to my door and also that the driver couldn’t find my flat. Costly mistake for them because I’m never using them again, which will lose them a lot more than refunding their own mistake would have! Customer service sends templates responses and takes no responsibility.

It was never great but has totally gone downhill. On the last delivery, I got a call from driver shouting "no english" over and over. As I saw him nearby on the app I had to get out of the house to find him. Half the food was missing so I contacted deliveroo and they refused to put in an order for the missing part and just provided me with a partial refund. Not sure how I am supposed to feed people with half the order so I asked for a full refund which they also refused, had to contact my bank who did a chargeback. I think they are luckily dying a slow and painful death of never getting profitable which is reflected in their stock price. I am tired of seeing their drivers ignore red lights and driving on pedestrian roads, it is complete wild west. I have deleted my account.
