Going to Delamar was the best decision I have made. I applied for the advanced Prosthetic course including the 2 week beginners course and even though I was nervous to start with my confidence quickly grew. I couldn’t have asked for a better tutor! I have learnt an immense amount in a short space of time and the support I have received after the course has been amazing. If you are on the fence whether or not it would be worth going to Delamar, take it from me and go for it. You won’t regret it!

DeLaMar Academy is an amazing school, I’m 49 years old and I’m working in a completely different “world”. I was looking for a new adventure and DeLaMar was definitely the greatest choice I ever made probably in the last 20years in term of profession. I have learned so much, I have found a new passion, and found again the meaning of being curious! I always wanted to go to Delamar academy to learn and improve my makeup skills, but for some reason it kept getting delayed. Last year I finally got the chance to go for the 6 weeks course and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Initially, the 1st week of the course which is the basic course, wasn’t going to take place around those dates because I was the only one enrolling at the time and most of the students were already in the other batches for the longer courses. The academy still decided to go ahead with the basic course even when it was just going to be me so I don’t miss out on anything. I was so grateful and couldn’t ask for more. Even though I had 1on1 session with the tutor that week, the academy arranged for models so I have different faces to work on and have the best learning experience. Being an international student I feel they were very supportive since the start and they also helped with accommodation. Throughout the course I was taught by amazing tutors at the academy who are highly experienced and are some of the best in the industry. They were very patient, informative and so helpful in every step of the way. All the staff and tutors were like family by the end of the course and it was such an amazing environment to be in. There has been a huge difference in my skin work and makeup in general. The course has given me so much confidence and I’m grateful for everything that I learned. Thank you Delamar <3 I would Highly recommend Delamar Academy to anyone looking to pursue a career in Make-up and Hair!

Can’t recommend Delamar Academy enough. This place was vital for me to learn all the skills I needed to go on to have a career in Film/TV and West End theatre. The Academy offers such a wide range of classes from Fashion to SFX. With teachers currently working in the industry you are guaranteed to get in-depth knowledge that wouldn’t be available elsewhere. Delamar is the best Academy choice for people that are willing to gain knowledge and experience for Film/TV/Theatre. Tutors are great, friendly and very helpful, they are also active in the industry so you will get best tips and advices from experienced people. Really important part of studying in Delamar is that you will get a help with finding your first job after finishing your course. I personally think Delamar is the best choice if your interest is in Hair& Makeup, prosthetics, special effects makeup. The best training for working in the film industry! When I was looking at changing careers, I had no idea where to start and what I was even looking for. When I found Delamar, their reputation and reviews were exactly why I felt like it was the best place for me to train. I studied on the 1 year course and took the advanced hair module as I knew I wanted to work in film and tv. Its a fast paced course which gives you the training and tools to be able to start your career. All of the tutors are working professionals and experts in their field which makes learning from them so interesting and exciting. They have so much knowledge to give and you can tell that they care about their field of work and want you to do well. The support from the tutors and the staff at Delamar was incredible and they have continued the support after completing the course which was an important consideration when looking at places to train. Its funny.. when you read all the reviews of other students that have trained here a lot of them have the phrase 'it was the best decision I have ever made!' and it really was!

Everyone at Delamar are so lovely and welcoming! I’m still too young to attend the academy, however that hasn’t stopped them from helping and supporting me to learn and grow my skills. I have been invited to visit the academy to model and have been lucky enough to take part in the informative webinars they have been offering on zoom recently. The team really couldn’t of helped me enough! The tutors they have are the best of the best which makes learning even more fun! I really couldn’t recommend them enough!
