Would highly recommend defense composite for all your PPE needs. The cut resistant gloves are so comfortable and warm to wear with such a high level of protection they have surprising dexterity. I personally use the low profile composite stab vest with front zip and have got plenty of staff around me into them. It takes a while to get used to if you've only ever worn Kevlar but once you do it's so much lighter and easier to wear for extended periods. The protection it offers is brilliant and I've sadly had this tested on a few occasions with blunt force assaults and they stand up brilliant without any marks or damage. The level of customization that's available is fantastic which can suit any contract requirements. Jason has always been so on the ball and happy to help with any random request for products. He is very knowledgeable and has first hand experience which put a lot more faith in the products I'm buying for me and my team. With new GP dog on the way I'll be ordering one of the dog vests soon enough and will be sure to do another review.

As a former member of the UK military, law enforcement and security industry for 25+ years I have worn a number of body armour so I know what works and what doesn't. I have been associated with Defence Composites products since 2012 and can unreservedly state that they manufacture superb bullet and stab resistant vests. Their stab resistant vests are very unique in the body armour marketplace as they are made from polycarbonate, which is lightweight, thin and does an amazing job at protecting the wearer from knife, needle, improvised weapons (ice picks, glass etc.) as well as from blunt force trauma attacks (punches, kicks and hits with heavy objects). They have recently designed, developed and implemented an excellent covert bullet resistant t-shirt as well as a canine harness that allows for either bullet, stab or multi-threat panels to be inserted for maximum protection for working dogs. The craftsmanship is second to none. What I also like and appreciate about DC is their customer service, which is first rate. They respond to inquiries quickly and efficiently and the fact that they have been manufacturing their own products for years allows them to provide insight and guidance to their products that other retailers are usually unable to give. If you are a security company, bylaw enforcement department, police, prison or similar who require body armour in the UK or Europe, look no further than Defence Composites. They have the ability to design an outer carrier to your specs and you will be a very happy customer.
