If I could give one star I would. I am absolutely appalled by the way this venue has treated us. For those who don’t know Deepdale is around £4,000 for just two empty barns with no tables, chairs etc. Earlier in the year we had to cancel due to cost of living and it wasn’t something we’d be able to afford any longer due to the sheer cost of extra essentials needed for the venue on top of the £4,000. I asked that our deposit be returned if someone else was found for our date. Fast forward to now I have chased this up today where Charlotte replied saying they are having a wedding that weekend of friends and are not taking any money for it. Utter lies. In one of the busiest wedding months no venue would do this. They are profiting from our £500 deposit because they are pretending they have a non paying wedding. I’ve been accused of being a liar as the venue have been on my social media (which they did not follow) to see we booked an alternative venue which we could afford, £1,000 for everything which our families are paying most of. If we had cancelled because we wanted to change venue then fine. But we are in a cost of living crisis out of our control hence having to find somewhere thousands of pounds cheaper. I have stated to the owners I will be taking this further if no money is refunded to us.

Wow what a venue! Our wedding at Deepdale was everything we had hoped for - a relaxed, rustic, fun filled day with our nearest and dearest in a unique place that is truly beautiful. We are locals and had been to a charity dance do many years before and fell in love with the place then. I was slightly nervous to go with a DIY venue but I needn’t have been - it was a fantastic opportunity to have everything tweaked to our taste, style and personality. Deepdale as it comes is still beautiful with heaps of fairy and festoon lights everywhere so if you don’t have the time or budget for loads of extra styling it doesn’t matter! The views and scenery and stunning, and there are lots of different areas for guests to sit and enjoy. Jim and Charlotte were brilliant, always friendly and informative and there to answer any questions. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks so much for helping us to have the wedding of our dreams at your wonderful farm!

Deepdale Farm was the most beautifully perfect place to get married! Charlotte and Jim were amazing from start to finish and went above and beyond to make our day so special. We had the best weekend, not only on our wedding day but setting up the days before and the morning after the wedding after camping on our wedding night. The venue itself is in the most beautiful location and has everything you could ever need in one place, from the beautiful barns, to the camping fields, to the terrace with amazing views, to the grill where everyone loved toasting marshmallows! There was something for everyone and being able to customise it to our own design and do a complete DIY wedding made our dream wedding possible! All we heard was incredible feedback from our guests who were amazed with how beautiful it was. We will remember the memories made forever and be so truly glad we chose to get married here and we can't wait to come back and stay in cabin in the future! Thank you! Sally & Lisa x

Would easily be 5 stars if it had the road to get to it fixed up and had a way to protect from the weather in both sides . We were incredibly lucky with the weather and it was truly magical . Mainly because of the superb organisation going into its setup . All kit was hired in and set up by lots of family and friends. It's hard to find, drive to, but truly amazing IF... the weather is good and how YOU lay it out.
