Charged an additional fee a year after completion due to their mistake. Thinking back on my house purchase. We were not impressed due to the length of time it took to complete predominantly due to the office not being proactive with known issues. However, it was during the stamp duty rush so I appreciate that they were likely very busy. A year later we are now being charged for things that they didn't account for at the time. Friendly and polite team, but I wont be using them again.

Super slow and did a poor job of keeping me updated, especially near completion time. Dee & Griffin did not even communicate to the buyer's solicitors when I wanted to complete despite assurances that we were on track to complete by the Friday when in fact they were no where near ready to compete. Had they actually contacted the buyers solicitors they would have found out that the Friday was not going to work for them but instead they chose to give me false hopes and waste my time chasing needlessly. Worse still, I made a formal complaint which was ignored so I've escalated it to the Legal Ombudsman. Surely you should know it's better to be honest and transparent to your clients and give realistic timescales. Don't keep on taking on clients if you haven't got capacity!

They ensured the move went smoothly and were informed every step of the way. The transaction was completed timely and at a reasonable cost for their wonderful service.
