We take the safety of our participants very seriously at Deception Escape Rooms. We have emergency keys located in each room, as well as a security system in place to monitor the game. Our staff also monitors the game through cameras and is available to assist participants at any time. Additionally, we provide a safety briefing before the game begins to ensure that everyone is aware of the safety protocols.

    Loved every second of it! Staff were lovely, especially the man that welcomed us in (sorry I was rude and forgot your name!). The kids loved the experience and were positively terrified at points and so were we which made the experience a lot more exciting! Loved the storyline and will definitely be returning! Would highly recommend to all! Was a lovely family day out!

    My husband and I went into Matlock to visit his family and we went to this escape room with his little sister. We did "ScaryTale" and when it says "scary" it means it 👀. Between escape rooms I've done between California & Seoul South Korea I can genuinely say this is the best escape room I've experienced. Love that it's story based as well. The owner was so kind as well & we shared a lovely chat with him when we ultimately failed at escaping. -Love, the "We love Shrek" Crew

    Had a great time doing the Scarytale room with the family (kids aged 14 and 11). Managed to escape! Extremely well thought out rooms with plenty of jump scares which added to the fun! Staff were brilliant, explained everything so well and added to the drama/excitement. Highly recommend for a great family few hours out!
