    never responded to my email relating to my order. Order never shipped , its been a month. charge on my bank statement was larger then the charge on the invoice. Do not buy from this company.

    I wish i had read these reviews. Ordered samples, received a couple of weeks later. Ordered cloth from sample and then.....nothing. Chased twice by email and then called (2 weeks post order), only to be told it was "in weave" and would not be delivered for another 6 weeks. Unclear exactly what that meant (to me or the company), but refund issued, without any form of apology. A total waste of my time, and frankly his time.

    I placed an order on March 6th. My money was taken from my debit card. No further communications. I chased on March 23rd. Promised a call back. I chased again on March 28th and I was told (with no apology) the line was discontinued and in around 2 - 3 days he hoped he could show me new line to see if suitable alternative. He didn't know timescales for delivery. The fabric was perfect and we have paid a deposit to a seamstress to make the items for our office from the fabric. Client service terrible and a complete lack of apology or concern. Monies refunded without request. Hey it is no longer his problem that way. How rude.

    I was excited when I found this store because they had the exact fabric I've been looking for with beautiful colours so I went ahead and spent over $600. Now I'm highly disappoint because it's been a while since I placed the order with them and nothing's been shipped AND they refuse to answer any of my emails. It's a bit frustrating because I need these fabrics for my samples and It's very obvious that this company is not reliable. Even if we're in a pandemic, the least they can do is provide good customer service but nope. There may be good reviews but I don't thing Yorkshire Fabric is worth the risk.

    I am so pleased that COVID made me find fabrics from overseas so that I found this company. I live in Australia and needed to find fabric for a jacket for a client and none of the Australian fabric shops had what I was looking for. I figured that as I was purchasing online anyway, I may as well give it a shot! I am so glad I did. The fabric arrived sooner than I expected - faster than deliveries from within Australia and not only that - the fabric is beautiful. Exceeding the photos but exactly what I wanted. I could not have hoped for a better outcome and I am now looking to order more for other clients! My client is also extremely happy. Thank-you so much! (it may be co-incidence but my great, great grandfather and his sister worked in a Mill in Yorkshire in the 1800's, so I sensed it would be OK :-) )

    ordered fabric from them 16.04 for 350 pounds, today 26.04. The fabric was not sent, there was no reply by mail, there was an answering machine on the number. ignored completely, in the future I do not advise buying fabric from them. This is a fraudulent organization. At the same time, the store confirmed the payment for the goods and the bank cannot make a refund. A month and a half has passed since the payment for the fabric, the fabric was sent, but returned back to the store due to problems with delivery. 1 month has passed since the return, the store stopped responding to messages. A very strange company. 4 months have passed, the store is not responding. There was no return, there was no re-shipment of the goods. The organization proves its fraudulent activity. At the same time, the company posts information on Twitter, Facebook, but does not respond to any site. The company also does not respond to emails. Doesn't answer phone calls. I advise all buyers to bypass this organization. And I hope that the representatives of the organization will get what they deserve for the fraudulent activity and will be held accountable for their activities.

    Ok, I would like to set the record straight here as there are some mixed reviews. I placed an order 1/26. This was right before the UK went on another shutdown due to COVID. In mid march I emailed about my order really just to touch base and see how things were going. I received an email from Nic that things were moving slower than normal (to be expected) and that she was waiting to hear back from the mill. She said she would get back to me shortly. Now April and I had not heard back. I sent an email just checking in again. No response. Then I sent an email saying that I had read some bad reviews, I had seen people write "scam", and that I was getting worried about my order. I did say that would also feel the need to write my negative reviews online. Then I immediately received an email and three phone calls from Andrew. Andrew explained to me that they had been hit hard by COVID and that the three main people running Yorkshire had been very sick with COVID. Yorkshire is a smaller company and they were pretty much unable to operate for a little while. When we spoke he said they were slowly getting over their symptoms and slowly getting back to work. He also stated that my particular fabric was out of stock (which I did not know beforehand) and that added to the delay. It was a pleasure to speak to Andrew on the phone. He sounded very sincere in his apologues and explanation of what happened. Now it did say when I ordered that there could/would be delays due to COVID. That was to be expected due to shortage in staff in the shipping industry but I don't think anyone was aware that the staff was so sick with COVID. If it were my company I would have posted on the website that "we are temporarily on hold due to COVID. Delays could be months but everyone's order is safe!!" But that's just me and every business has to make their own decisions. I'm happy to say that I received my fabric yesterday. :) This company is not a scam.

    I bought 500 pound in fabrics in march 20'2021... and I was angry... Today they told me most of the merchandise was shipped thru DHL. I'm happy, I still have to wait the delivery but now can I say Yorkshire Fabric is legit. Was almost 2 months so I hope they resolve their issues with the orders, but in honor of true they have a lot of fantastic wool fabrics and their prices are the cheaper around the globe. If everything goes right from here, I hope buy more of that premium quality wool from Yorkshire.
