From the moment we met her, we realised that Debbie was the celebrant for us. She absolutely loves ‘love’ and loves happy endings – which is, after all, what a wedding is all about. Debbie is naturally curious about people. She was fastidious about, and took time to hear, our respective stories and wove them together in a bespoke and personal narrative picking out the key points (both serious and light-hearted) that mattered to us and that we wanted to share with friends and family. On the day, Debbie delivered it perfectly. Our wedding felt intimate (despite over 60 people being in the room) as well as inclusive of our children and parents and a genuinely joyous occasion. Debbie was our celebrant for our wedding and was absolutely fantastic! She certainly has a passion for making wedding couples' ceremonies romantic and funny. Her talent in developing a ceremony that is tailored to a couple really shone through during our wedding. She has a very bubbly and positive personality, which is infectious and perfect as a wedding celebrant. Debbie held frequent calls with us as a couple, well in advance of our wedding, to learn more about us and to develop a script that we loved. She will not stop until she is completely satisfied that she has created the most wonderful magic and romance. Debbie is a very caring person and goes above and beyond. She visited our wedding venue herself to get familiarity with the venue and also held a rehearsal session for us at the venue beforehand to make sure that everything for our ceremony was in place and that everyone was familiar with the flow of the ceremony. Debbie also ensured with our wedding venue that my mother – who was unable to attend in person – was able to view the ceremony digitally via a video stream, for which we are very grateful. If there were any parts of the ceremony that we needed an opinion on, Debbie was very helpful in giving her view and offered excellent suggestions, such as walking down the aisle of the wedding couple and bridal party, and on readings (religious and non-religious). As we wrote our personal vows, Debbie expressed great interest in seeing them before the wedding day, because she is a true romantic. Our ceremony was the most beautiful one we could have hoped for and the guests had the highest impression of Debbie and the ceremony that she performed for us. We could not have been happier that Debbie celebrated our wedding. We are very thankful to her , and absolutely recommend her as a wedding celebrant to any couple who want a personalised, romantic, funny and beautiful ceremony for their wedding.

Working as professional Toastmaster, The Man in the Red Coat, I naturally get to meet and work with suppliers of all kinds and included in that list are celebrants. There are good ones and there are great ones and Debbie is up there at the top of the great ones list. Sometimes you just know in advance as to whether working alongside others is going to flow and considering our roles that is vital. Well even before we met I could tell over the phone that everything was going to be perfect. For her couples, she must be a delight. She is accommodating, wise to how things will look for them and as such can guide them in the best way possible so that they can feel totally relaxed. Finally, when it is time to deliver the ceremony of a lifetime, all those years of media training has clearly not gone to waste. Any couple that engages her can be assured of a beautifully delivered ceremony that will live in the memories of all that are present for all the right reasons. I look forward to the next time our paths cross.
