A beautiful person all round. Debs was completely dedicated to us from start to finish. The service she provided was brilliant. She made us all feel so much better with her compassionate, caring and warm personality. We had our Spanish family viewing from Spain via webcasting. They felt included and as much part of the service as we did and her spoken words were so clear and understandable by everyone out there. I have never met anyone as dedicated to their work as Debs! Debbie recently acted as celebrant during a lovely and heartfelt service commemorating the life and sudden passing of our dearly beloved son. ‘Debs’ was called in at very short notice by our Funeral Director, the highly professional Alan Gannon, of Alan Gannon and Sons, and displayed the characteristic features required of a celebrant; compassion, integrity, sincerity, sensitivity and flexibility. Taking time to listen during a period of great duress, you helped us put together a meaningful Order of Service, offering gentle and timely suggestions and incorporating our memories into a heartfelt service that reflected the life and experiences of our son. You were there for us completely from the outset, listening attentively with understanding and patience as we added to the service and made various changes so close to the day. You really did build a picture of our son’s character, as a child and how he lived his life. Your co-ordinating with Alan was evident, affording us the space to grieve with dignity, and you presented the service with sensitivity and grace. Debs conducted our mums funeral and from the moment we appointed her she took care of everything grace and ease. She is such a lovely warm lady and carries out her role with great professionalism. The eulogy she wrote for my mum was brilliant, it really captured my mums essence. So much so that people asked us at the funeral if Debs knew my mum personally.
