For Location, and Value for money, it's got to be 5 stars. As frequent visitor (a Forester) to the Forest of Dean, I do not even bother to check alternatives.

Some rooms at this motel are so dirty the place should be closed down. Stains all over everything, dints all over the walls, no head board, the kettle broken, the communal bathroom is awful, the radiator and coat hanger are completely rusty and the radiator is actually dripping rust into the bath. It deserves 0 stars. It is like a prison.

I only stayed 1 night in a single room. The room was clean and tidy, single bed, tv with tea and coffee. The bathroom in the main block was communal. However if you just want a clean place to put uour head down for the night I would recommend the Deansgate Motel the lady on reception was very polite and allowed us to check in early.
