  "I chose Dean Wyatt Driving School because it came highly recommended by a friend who knew Dean well. Learning to drive with Dean was even better than I expected. He made the whole process very enjoyable and stress free, which was important to me as a nervous learner driver. He helped build my confidence while still challenging me to improve. Dean’s teaching methods were fantastic. He was always very clear and patient in explaining things to me, and he made sure I understood everything before we moved on. His vast knowledge of driving and the rules of the road was an imperative factor to my learning, and he was always happy to answer any questions I had. I would absolutely recommend Dean to anyone looking for a driving instructor. He is a great teacher and also just a really lovely person! He was always happy to have a chat and make me feel at ease, which made a big difference to my overall experience. Honestly, I don’t think there’s anything Dean could have done better. He really went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and confident behind the wheel, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all his help. Thank you, Dean, for everything!   I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to Dean for all of his hard work and dedication in helping my son Luca pass his driving test on his first attempt. Dean’s patience, encouragement and expertise have been invaluable throughout Luca’s driving lessons and Luca really couldn’t have done it without him.   I chose Dean Wyatt Driving School having researched local driving schools and compared reviews. I saw there were lots of recommendations for the school on local facebook groups. I was looking for a school that offered refresher lessons and understood nervous drivers. When I first enquired with the school they were professional and friendly and understood my anxiety and had availability straight away so I decided to book with them. I wasn’t too sure what to expect beforehand, but I am really happy with how the lessons went and how there was visible progress each lesson. I wasn’t sure how long it would take me to feel confident driving, but I expected it to take longer than it did. Jo’s calm demeanour and teaching really helped. I think it could have been different with other instructors who weren’t as calm or understanding. I liked how Jo made a plan for each lesson and then set a goal for the next one. I liked Jo’s teaching methods, particularly how she worked with my levels of confidence and my suggestions to devise a plan and set goals for each lesson. She had the right balance of pushing me out of my comfort zone so that I could build up my experience and confidence on the road, but also working at my pace and checking that I was ok and never forcing me to do a drive I didn’t yet feel comfortable with. She always explained things clearly. I liked how at the end of each lesson she reflected on what we’d covered and things I needed to work on and improve, and what I did well. I started as hesitant and nervous in my abilities, and now feel confident and safe thanks to Jo’s teaching. I would recommend Jo to my friends and anyone looking to learn to drive or refresh their driving skills. I can’t think of any improvements. Thank you so much Jo for helping me progress and build confidence, it’s going to make a huge difference!

  Dean Wyatt Driving School came highly recommended and we can’t praise them enough. Our son passed first time with their thoughtful, helpful instructor Karen. He is a proficient and confident driver thanks to her guidance. We will definitely choose to use Dean Wyatt again for our younger son.

  After seven years of not driving due to extreme anxiety I decided it was now or never to tackle it. I looked up refresher lessons and Dean Wyatt Driving School popped up as specialising in anxious drivers. Dean’s quick and understanding response to my email really helped me take those first steps. I was extremely anxious when I started the lessons and quite frankly just expected to be told I was a terrible driver who should never be in the driver's seat! However Peter was extremely patient and understanding. We took every lesson at my own pace and it really helped me slowly build my confidence back up. I’m so pleased that I’ve been able to achieve more than I could’ve ever thought possible with Peter's help and am now able to independently get to where I need to be. I think Peter is an excellent teacher, and explains things in a clear and calm way. I feel like my ability to navigate the roads and anticipate the actions of other road users has greatly improved and has given me the ability to feel like a safe and confident driver. I would without a doubt recommend Peter as a driving instructor. He continued to believe in me and encouraged me even when I had some very anxious moments and doubted myself. My life has undoubtedly changed from this process and I have regained some independence I never thought I would get back, which I completely credit to Peter! Nothing that I can think of could have been done better. Thanks so much again!

  "I chose Dean Wyatt Driving School because after searching for Driving Schools in the area, I noticed they had great reviews and it was affordable. The training was on point. I was thoroughly prepared for my test. The training equipped me with the skills that I needed to pass. Everything that I was taught proved relevant to the test. I followed the training, executed the manoeuvres as taught, and passed. My Driving instructor Peter was the best. His methods worked for me. He identified my weaknesses and helped me to correct them. He ensured that I grasped the basics and he worked with me at my level. His instructions were easy to follow and he gave guidance and instruction in a way that worked for me and boosted my confidence. The support was excellent, I was able to message Peter at any time and he always responded. I loved that we had discussions about the drive, we shared thoughts on good areas and those that needed improvement (drive). He was always equipped with his resources and popped them out from time to time. I would highly recommend Peter and by extension, Dean Wyatt Driving School to anyone. Why? Because I felt confident as a learner in his capabilities. Peter is an expert, he easily identified my weak areas and helped me. His training methods worked, and he was very supportive and could be easily contacted. Being very honest, nothing could have been done better. Peter's method of teaching was on point, his style worked for me."

Learning to drive was harder to pick up than I thought it would be, but really fun once I started getting better. Dean was brilliant at helping with technique and awareness, as well as being really patient and always helping me and giving me advice all the time.   We chose Dean Wyatt’s driving school because of the many recommendations and good things we had heard about Dean. Having now just finished a course of sessions with a Driving Test Pass in the first attempt I can say that everything we heard was true. Both Dean and Karen are great instructors (my daughter mixed it up a bit towards the end to build her strengths) and they were both completely reliable and efficient behind the scenes. Would definitely recommend and will use them again in future.

  "I chose Dean Wyatt Driving School because my mum knows Dean and saw his cars driving about, so when the time came for me to start we thought it would be a great option. When it came to learning to drive, I knew what to expect as I've always been into cars so knew what it would be like and what I had to do. My instructors' teaching methods worked well for me as most of the learning came from physical driving as that's where I felt I would learn more than being talked through any situations. I would recommend you to my friends as it's a great way to start off your driving, as they have friendly instructors who have great teaching methods. I wouldn't change anything about my learning experience."
