The concept and the method in teaching Chinese are different from other Chinese schools: De Yin emphasizes the Chinese traditional values. My daughter benefits not only from learning Chinese but also from learning the fantastic stories conveying Chinese ancient wisdom, the calligraphy and Chinese paper cutting skills . I attended the final performance day of De Yin School's Chinese summer camp as my friends sent their kids to this camp. I was highly impressed by the results! During one week, the kids had learnt so much stuff: calligraphy, Chinese dance, drama from 'Journey to the West', Chinese poetry recitation etc. I especially enjoyed the dance programs as the kids looked adorable in traditional Chinese dance costumes. It's a great way to experience Chinese culture and the kids also seemed to greatly enjoy their experiences there.
