We were unloading our car at the hotel for 30 minutes and asked when we checked in if we needed anything to not be charged for parking. They said no, but we ended up getting a ticket for 60 pounds! I wrote several emails and never received a response. Then I called from the USA and they said they would help look into it and take care of it. Never did I hear anything back though. On top of this we were charged a lot for the 2 mile shuttle to the airport, even though we stayed there specifically because they had a shuttle (stupidly thinking it would be a reasonable price or free). Supper was not good and too expensive as well. We were bummed that this was our last experience in the UK.

We arrived after 10pm and the lady we found was helpful however struggled to find our booking then the owner had to assist. When we got to the family 4 bed room there were only 3 beds made up so had to swop rooms. The hotel looks as if it has been a care home. The reception area may look nice when you drive up but we had an idea what the hotel would be like when we parked around the back. The rooms are dated and don’t look like the photos and the bathroom wasn’t clean (wee on the toilet seat). The only saving grace was that we needed to leave at 4am so we’re up and out. I would never stay there again or recommend. Rooms: Unclean bathroom and dated rooms which don’t look like the pictures. Over priced. We had to get to our room through a door which said don’t enter - danger which seemed odd.
