I had a court order against two individuals who didn't pay rent for almost a year. This was in addition to legal fees and damages to my property. I assigned the case to DCBL to collect. It started well. They collected their fees first for for few months I received monthly instalments. Then the transfers stopped. I had to chase DCBL repeatedly to understand what was going on. After many attempts the told me that they closed the case. Without informing me. Without sending a final balance. Without providing reasons. As a matter of fact they have received more than I have received from the court order. I found out that since they couldn't find one of the old tenants on the first visit they would only go after the one they easily found. When it was no longer a walk in the park collecting they dropped the case. After many attempts and pleads with them to resume their efforts they kept assuring me that my case is not forgotten; until enough time has lapsed. Now, I can pay to renew the order. It's a game of exhaustion. The BEST PART, when I advised them that I will reach out to the financial ombudsman they requested to review the complaint before I submit my complaint. It's utter disrespect and manipulation of the rules, the regulations and the vulnerability of their clients. Everyone needs to be careful from the "award-winning" enforcement agency. It's under this umbrella that they hide and they con their clients; myself included. They used the least path of resistance and they would let the whole thing drops without even bothering to inform you. Their rating is a true reflection of their competency. They are the agency of 50/50 chance. If it works then great and they get a good review. There are many, like myself, who would attest otherwise.

Professional scamming company . I had a ticket in July 2022, that I appealed and had not heard anything , until a letter from DCBL, asking for 170 pounds, with the wrong address. The neighbour who received the letter was kind enough to deliver by himself to us . I called and explained that this is first letter I receive, and they have the address wrong. The agent was intimidating and bullying, accusing me of lying saying they have the correct address from DVLA. I called DVLA and they confirmed I have the correct address. The agent was not able to share any other letters , and did not give me a chance to put an appeal in writing . The approach was shocking to extent that I thought they are professional scammers and was going to report them to fraud police, until I saw all the reviews. I made an appeal to the parking company and awaiting an answer . How can such a company exist .. Shocking .

Really bad company to use I thought seeing as they were used for the tv show “can’t pay we’ll take it away” they would be half decent… wasn’t I wrong They took 3 months to go and look at the premises by the time the traders had moved on . Then they ask me for an abortive fee because they couldn’t do their job properly . Feels like I’m talking to a robot, no proper answers. Would not recommend, go elsewhere

I was travelling in Scotland for a weekend, we pulled over in a rental carpark to go for a brief walk. The signage was obscured and we couldn't see any of the small print. We were in the carpark for 34 minutes and then left, paying the 2 euro fare on exit. About 3-4 months later, I saw a charge from Avis the car hire company with an additional 30 euro fee on top, they'd been sent the fine, not notified me and then it was sent to an old address of mine with £60 on-top of the fee. The initial fine was £60 but I missed the deadline as they had sent it to an old address. Subsequently, they've referred the debt to DCBL who have then conducted a search and obtained my address to then send a new fine of £175. I contacted them and CEL (the parking business) notifying them I had paid, I sent proof of payment through and they let me know that you need to pay within 15 minutes of entering, this fact is hidden away. So the parking company is setting people up to be fined. I've made data subject access requests, offered to pay the initial fine but DCBL are unresponsive, rude and ignorant. I am still going through the complaints process at the moment and have made a request for CEL to provide proof that the camera in question was calibrated correctly. The best bet to ensure DCBL doesn't come in to your life would be to pay any parking fine to the operator before it is referred. Although it is £60, I'd have rather blown up at the terrible empty carpark in Scotland than have this pack of uneducated morons sticking to a rigid process where they have no real common sense. One of the worst enterprises I have ever dealt with. UPDATE: After making multiple request for DSARs and inundating their complaints team with emails (DCBL & CEL), I was able to source a local business whose Owner was listed as having part ownership in the carpark where I was fined. After emailing this establishment they were grateful for the email as the carpark and the regulations were meant to be a way to ease pressure during peak season traffic and prevent campers. It was not meant to be a means to fine tourists in quiet days where no one was in the carpark. The business owner was able to email their carpark provider and the PCN is being cancelled. Eight months of effort and commitment has saved me £170 and wasted countless hours of this predatory business' time.

WoW What a terrible experience I just had with this company! I set up a payment plan for a parking ticket and realised over a year after that they had taken an extra payment of £43 after the completion of the payment plan. I only realised this when my calendar alerted me so I call them and was advised by a Meghan that yes they owe me £43 and that the refund will be made in 14 days! So I asked to which account as I have since a year ago changed my bank accounts and Meghan assured me that this company are so advanced that they will know what my current bank is?! Shocked… I asked how, she said she doesn’t know but the department at the back will know! How? I asked and we kept going back and forth. So I suggested she takes my new bank details she then says the system doesn’t allow her to take bank details?!!! What?! So how do I give these details then I asked… wait for it… she said she can get her manager to call me to explain why they cannot take my bank details but this call will be done in 72hours! Lol. At this point I had to laugh with frustration. I pointed to her that they were quick to demand and threaten for payment but now that they have my money I have to listen to these lame excuses?! They are a joke seriously. But guess what Meghan then hang up on me. And I was calm as a cucumber. The call was recorded so every word I’m saying here is exactly what happened. Let’s see what their response to this is.

Ruining lives with their scam like operations. Funny how the first letter most people seem to receive is after a judgement in the County Court Business centre has been passed (and no this isnt the same as real court despite what they try and make you believe). When you ask for proof of previous contact they can't provide any. The call centre staff are unbelievably rude and unhelpful. I did a subject access request and I don't beleived they actually provided all info they have for a second. They did have previous addresses on file so even stranger that I have never had a letter since I always always forward my post for 6 months. Absolute scammers and anyone involved with this company should be ashamed of themselves. An alleged small parking charge which nobody can provide proof of to me from allegedly 2015 is now costing me nearly £350 in 2022 in the mist of a cost of living crisis because of DCBL and their shady practices.
