David repointed our Edwardian house in July. We were looking for someone who used lime mortar and was sympathetic to the age of the property. He was very knowledgeable and provided us with a competitive and reasonable quote. My husband and I found him to be a very honest, hardworking and highly professional individual. David undertook the restoration of our 250 yr old grade II listed entrance piers with substantial corniced plinths and ball finials. All work done to put them back to their original glory and according to the demands of Historic England. David is clearly an expert in what he does and his work included hand carving detailed sections to match existing broken stone sections. David and his team were fantastic in their attention to detail and clearly care about what they do. Lovely guys too - we just left them a key to the property and had no qualms in doing so even when away for a few days. Nothing was too much trouble and David even found time to carry out a couple of other wall repairs to the main house (at negligible additional cost). I could not recommend DB Restorations more and will undoubtedly make use of their services again.
