Paul has maintained a number of rented properties as well as two commercial properties. Work ranges from basic maintenance and repairs, to extensions and roofing. All work has been completed to an excellent standard. I have also contacted Paul during unsocial hours and he is always willing to resolve any problems immediately. Paul Melling was recommended to me as a good honest locally based contractor. After contacting him to price for some work to be carried out, he came on time and was extremely helpful. He suggested cost effective options for all the different parts of the project which included work inside the house, outside, on the roof and areas of the garden giving us sound advice. He provided us with a written quote and an idea of available dates should we wish him to carry out the work. There was no pressure whatsoever. We liked Paul's friendly personality and his no fuss way of detailing how our project would be handled and were happy to ask him to take on our project. He came exactly on time on the day he began work and did so every day until the work was complete and was there when we came home to give us updates on how things were going. If there was an element that needed our clarification, he checked with us first before starting. We had no mess to come home to, he left everything clean and tidy at the end of each day. I would highly recommend Paul. He is extremely knowledgeable, prices fairly, is honest and reliable and we would without any hesitation call on him again for any future work.
