I took my curtains here to be taken up. I measured them many times with a friend to make sure the measurements were correct. I pinned the measurements on a piece of paper to make sure they had the right measurements. I have now put them up and they are too short by 3cms. I have had to lower the poles to correct they are now at the right length. The other thing I can't correct is the lining... they are 4cms above the top of the hem so hence they let the light in at the bottom. As they are navy in colour it really shows. I'm so disappointed as I did a lot of searching for what I thought was the best place to take them for a professional job. Service: Alterations

When I got my dress from Wed2B so had to find a seamstress. Contacted a few and was finding a lot wasn't interested in helping me because Wed2B dresses can be difficult apparently. Finally a friend recommended Davies Dry Cleaners after she had a great experience with her own wedding dress alterations. As soon as I went Mel was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and she was so friendly. Responded to me quickly via email, and really made me feel at ease. They are so popular there and always had other customers arriving during my appointments which is always a reassuring sign! Mel allowed me to have multiple appointments, and was always really helpful with timings to suit me and my long hours job. Pricing was also very fair! Couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you Mel!
