My pet passed away April , Davies then come after payment that was not invoiced from 7 months ago . This should of been an insurance claim . I have had no response to my complaints and still waiting to resolve this matter over 4 weeks ? Absolutely shambles as I was informed that their finance department made the errors . Vets are lovely, but office dreadful and distressing to contact.

My dog is diabetic and suffered blindness from cataracts in both eyes caused by the disease. His operation was performed more than two years ago after which he could see again! Since then I have taken him for several follow-up appointments to check on his progress and I'm pleased to say that he is doing extremely well. The staff at Davies are always busy and must deal with hundreds of precious pets, but they always make me and my little dog feel like the most important clients. I am totally impressed by their surgical skill, ongoing care and advice, and the warm, friendly attitude of all the staff.

I have taken 2 of my dogs to these rogues and would urge anyone to avoid them like the plague. Their only interest is money and unsurprisingly the first question they asked on both occasions was how were we going to pay. Unless you have super insurance you will find that the fees very quickly eat up whatever limit your company sets because the fees are absolutely astronomical and they charge and overcharge for absolutely everything. Both of my dogs died and I was left badly out of pocket as the fees for both were £10000. With our second dog who had cancer of the liver they raised false hopes of successful surgery but to no avail. I bitterly regret having taken my dogs to these people not just because of the excessive rip-off but the anguish caused by the raising of false hopes and the prolonged suffering caused to my dogs. These people are interested only in money, it’s the main focus whenever you speak or consult with them. Do yourself a big favour and avoid them.

Outstanding vets! We had an appointment with Alex one of the Orthopaedic specialists at Davies, after our dog kept having a luxating patellar, our local vet was unable to advise us on a definitive treatment plan so we were recommended and appointment at Davies. Alex was extremely knowledgeable and discussed all our options thoroughly. He was very friendly and welcoming and listened to all our worries and concerns. I cannot recommend highly enough this vets and Alex. Thank you again for your care and support towards our dog Teddy but also ourselves.

Excellent care for my dog. Pacemaker at 12 years old: 10 months on she is doing extremely well. Edit - my dog is now 14½ years and still happy and well. Edit 2023 - my dog lived to be 15½ years, it was time for me to say goodbye in February. I am so pleased she had the pacemaker, it was worth every penny.
