I've known of Davies& Davies but I started dealing with them in March of this year. Every step of of our joruney together has continously impressed me, from making sure they accomadated someone in my current situation, changing policies to make their work ethhic more inclusive, to being extremely repsonsive if something has not worked well in the flat. As a tenant, one worries about the possible eventualities that could occur whilst renting, and having heard from friends about other letting agents that have been abismal, I am very glad to have rented with Davies&Davies. Their team are not only professional but friendly and personable, which is a very reassuring quality that shows it comes directly from top management. Davies & Davies have been a great partner regarding a flat in this area. I've had good discussions with them a couple of times now regarding selling v renting on behalf of a property I manage, and they've executed on both sides of that very well. I find it's a better service than one would get from one of the big brand national chains.

We were tenants in a D&D managed property for some of 2020, had to move as the flat proved unsuitable for home working. Had various issues, but they were handled reasonably well. Did the classic light-touch inventory on the way in, and tried to charge us for a bunch of pre-existing issues on the way out. Also lied to us about being allowed to keep pets in the property in order to get us to sign contracts, and then went back on this the day before we moved in, giving us no time to change plans.
