5* Recommended firewood supplier for Ludlow and Tenbury Wells area. David supplied me with some excellent hardwood firewood. Knowing that it is clean from harmful pesticides or preservatives, I even used some of it to smoke a pulled pork with perfect results! I have used David Ward Firewood now a number of times and I don't think I'd go anywhere else. What is most important to me is that his wood is locally sourced, cut and kiln dried on site where you can see the process from beginning to end... better than wood sourced from abroad where you have no idea what damage has been done to a forest in the name of profit, not to mention all the pollution getting the wood here! David is a lovely guy and nothing is too much trouble.
