I would prefer to give 0 stars. I’m member of Hampton club, and I’m quite disappointed there. I was visiting other clubs nearby to see if I can change my home gym to another one. My friend and I both members of the gym, one diamond and one platinum went to the gym in Rayners park because we are extremely frustrated with the treatment and facilities of the Hampton one in order to try another club and if better to make that our home gym. Initially I was not allowed entry and we asked if we can use one guest pass. The receptionist at the front desk instead offered to let me in this time as a good will act for once since I never used Rayens Park before but she did not mention that I would only be allowed to certain services. Usually with a guest pass one can enjoy the gym services and facilities all over. We went to the changing rooms, got changed and went to the spa. There they said differently that the guest is not allowed to use the spa and we explained that the receptionist never said so. They then said that we cannot use the pass either because for the spa one needs to pay £40 on top of that. Embarrassing, misleading and as always customer service that does not know what to say and they improvise information more than plays in Broadway! It is been a very frustrating year of membership to that gym and it does not meet any standards of quality nor it offers the relaxation promised as always you have to beg them to provide proper humane services! Definitely not worth it and definitely moving to another brand soon. I would never recommend this gym/club to anyone decent who wants a space to enjoy workout and relaxation. They don’t keep hygiene, they are constantly rude and late and serving you at any area (besides group classes), it’s always overcrowded with people and even kids who sneak in the spa BUT members have to be treated so cheapy when they visit with their own paid membership benefits. The other day the Hampton manager himself entered the spa area without the required shoe covers and when I told him about that he did not even apologise but instead he said that he only needed 2 minutes inside -like bacteria needs more time to spread! It’s not my first complaint to them and none of the complaints before have been responded appropriately which indicates that as long as direct debit goes through every month, they do not care about anything else! 🤢🤢❌

I am a platinum member and was told I could not enter because they have invented a new tier “diamond tier”. The whole point of my membership is that I can go to any gym, whether I’m away for work or visiting someone. They wouldn’t even let me pay an extra fee to use. I used to come here a lot when I visited family in London, real shame as other DL are no where near the same standard as my gym in Bristol.

The gym floor is so overcrowded it's unbelieveable, i feel that it is down to poor management, i tried to cancel my membership after 12 years but unfortunately i have to give 3 months written notice, before the refurbishment the club was perfect for me, It was like my second home, now since the refurbishment things have gone downhill. I pay over £600 a month for a family of 4 memberships, i don't visit the Spa, all i want is to get a good workout session in which is not possible due to overcrowding which i find that really frustrating...

Dirty jacuzzi!!!Complained to a shameless so called manager Charlie,who apparently forgot who and where he is,-no results,only rude and careless response that the jacuzzi is cleaned ONCE PER MONTH!!! Can only imagine how many germs are in that jacuzzi!Shocking,considering in a month time probably thousands of people were inside of it! And they clean only once per month! Unbelievable! High risk to contract skin diseases! Will be complaining to head office now.
