What an absolutely fantastic company. From the surveyor, team in the office & the amazing moving team that got us out of our old home and into our new home. We have lost count of the number of items we are unboxing that are broken. And it's not surprising when you watch the boxes being thrown around. Then there's the furniture. Practically every table, sideboard, chest, etc had scratches or grooves on them. When we approached the company they said we had to do individual insurance claims for every single item. It would have taken us weeks & they know that's the last thing you can cope with after a house move.

I cannot thank all the staff we dealt with at David Gilkes enough. Right from the initial point of contact, nothing was too much trouble and everyone we dealt with was helpful, friendly and professional. It was so reassuring to feel that such a stressful situation was in the hands of staff who really care. On moving day, there was quite a delay before keys were released to us but the removal team took it all in their stride and made sure everything was where we wanted it and as it was so late in the day, 2 other members of removal staff came to help once their job was completed. Thankyou to Paul, Dean, Lewis, Kyle, Amy, Dan, Jill and Natalie for your 5 star service.
