    I've recently had explant surgery with en-bloc capsulectomy performed by Dr. David Floyd and I am very pleased with the result. As I did not opt for a lift or fat transfer in combination with the breast implants removal I was slightly worried regarding aesthetics yet I was pleasantly surprised to notice there was no loose skin and my areoles haven't dropped post surgery. I went from a DDD cup to a full D and my breasts look symmetrical and well proportionate. Being an active person and having large cohesive silicone gel implants with sub muscular placement has been a bad decision as the implants never dropped and fluffed but stayed trapped between the ribcage and my pectorals, having the appearance of hypertrophic pectoral muscles rather than breasts. Needless to say, I feel and look much better after the surgery. During the time I've "carried around" those implants there was no sensation in my nipples and strangely enough, after having those "plastic domes" removed my nipples regained fully their sensitivity. Another benefit to being free from those "weights" on my chest is being able to sleep on my back without finding it uncomfortable. Dr.Floyd and his team(Sheila Millar, Amy and the nurses) exceeded expectation.
