  David doyle have been an excellent team from start to finish . They helps with all questions being a first time buyer snd made everything a little less stressful and offered assistance from day 1 and even got a free gift of some prosecco which I have not yet had the time to enjoy . Highly recommend the team Mattew stone and Magdalena were the best Please use this team for any home buying or selling

  Travelled 45 minutes on Friday afternoon for a viewing only to be told that it’s cancelled. Sending an email, call or text is basic courtesy. Poor agents like this are the reason the industry has such a poor reputation.

  Was left feeling disappointed with the service I received by this agency. I'm a first time buyer, and felt that this was totally taken advantage of by the way I was dealt with and spoken to. I had quite a difficult vendor, and it was clear that no one knew how to deal with him. The property firstly was listed with a loft and a log burner, the loft didn't belong to the property at all and the log burner was in fact illegal. None of my emails to Charles were ever responded to, and it was a nightmare to ever get hold of Magdalena. I was passed around an awful lot with my sale, and never knew who I could to go with questions and enquires. After having to get a mortgage extension because the vendor was being difficult which really slowed things down, when the day finally came to collect my keys, the vendor refused to give the keys over and the Agency completely left me on my own to deal with this. The property was legally mine from 10am and was told I would have my hands on the keys from midday. I got into the property at 4:30pm after the vendor had literally gone awol with the keys, not one single agent was there to assist me after being advised to go to the property on my own and see what was going on. I had to go and physically get the keys from the vendor completely on my own. On top of this, the property was left in such a state that i couldn't stay in it for two days until i'd paid for it to be professionally cleaned. There was also a huge plumbing issue that was actually damaging the other property. The whole process was stressful, and totally underwhelming for what should have been a big achievement. I went into the agency myself after getting the keys and the situation was laughed at to be totally truthful. I wouldn't recommend. I was just lucky to have family of estate agents that gave me the guidance and advice I needed.

  Having sold our house in East Herts (so we were cash buyers) my wife and I were downsizing and seeking a new home in Dacorum. I circulated around 15 local estate agents with a detailed specification of our requirements. Only David Doyle and one other agent (who we were already known to) replied. David Doyle was the standout estate agent we dealt with. They sent us details only of properties which closely matched our requirements. They followed up by telephone (take a bow, Jordan) and sought to really understand our situation and what we were looking for. That we viewed many of their properties they sent us confirms how well they listened. Most of the viewings were conducted by Bruce who we found knowledgeable about the property we were viewing and gave frank answers. In the end, we bought a new build house direct from the developer. We felt guilty not to buy a property from David Doyle considering how hard they had worked to try and match our needs. If we were selling a property in Hemel Hempstead today, without a moments hesitation, we would select David Doyle knowing that no other estate agent would work as hard or as effectively to sell our property.
