Great service - helpful, professional and empathetic. Communication was good which is important when going through the stress of a house move. Both my sale and purchase tuned out to be tricky and I not only received sound advice from Hayley but she was also supportive and understanding of my particular case. Despite her busy schedule, I definitely felt like a valued customer and she helped me get through what was incredibly stressful at the end.

Unprofessional. Best to Avoid I employed this company to handle the sale of my parents house, based on the recommendation of the Estate Agent. This was a big mistake. I should have read the reviews beforehand. They are unprofessional and the main solicitor is arrogant. There is lack of communication from their staff and when you call, the receptionist undermines you - not the customer service you expect for the fees you are paying. I was told at the 11th hour that they could not no longer act on our behalf as they couldn't deal with a property in a Trust!! It took them 3 months to realize this, and then have the audacity to remove themselves as our solicitors because they cannot handle 'Trusts'. So not only did we lose the money we had paid them, but the sale was put back by a further 4 month. Luckily I replaced them with another solicitor's firm, who know their job. An expensive lesson learnt Bottom line - They are Unprofessional, lack Customer Service and operate with arrogance. Best to avoid such legal practices.

I have used this company in the past (probate & conveyancing) and the service has always been competent whilst customer service was average at best. This year I used them for conveyancing and our solicitor (a trainee) seemed to be doing the job well enough until James the boss got involved. He shouted and screamed at my wife over the phone in much the same way other reviewers have described. It was totally unprofessional and unacceptable. At the time, my wife was in her bank talking to the manager and clarifying the clearing of funds. Everything James accused us of was simply untrue as verified by the bank manager. Staff at Bunn & Co backed James's position which to my mind suggests James is a work place bully or at the very least has a shocking temper. I understand staff need to stay on the right side of the boss but letting him behave like this will cost this company its reputation and future business. I will never recommend them to anyone again.

I had an awful experience with David Bunn and Co (David has now retired and his son James runs things). I rely upon honest reveiws for choosing goods and services so felt it only fair to warn people. We used the solicitors for drafting a Last Will and Testament. The Will was one page and the solicitors had made themselves the executors. When issues were raised I was asked to pay again - we we both shouted at swore at and told to stop acting as if we had a brain. Very upsetting and very unprofessional.

Very poor service! !!!!Staff just seem to care about getting their money without making the minimum effort by cutting, pasting and forwarding email ( never mind we paid £1.500 for this!!!).The process of buying a place became more complicated due to limitations imposed by Covid 19 and they vê done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING To help us to liaise with the sellers on our behalf, letting them pressure us into an advantageous deal for them, even though house prices are known the be a bit more negotiable for buyers!!! We couldn’t believe in their low level of professionalism and no will to support us! Our queries were mostly ironically responded if we were supposed to know the process as professionals ( by using the word obviously too many times!) I really do hope this review can help first time buyers with some guidance were not to go!!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Gemma. Recently Gemma wrote our wills and changed the deeds on our property from joint tenancy to tenancy in common, explaining everything about what the advantage to us would be by doing this. Nothing was too much trouble for Gemma, she answered all of our concerns positively and accurately. Time wise things where processed very quickly. We would certainly use Gemma again if the need arises. Price wise the costs were reasonable. Thank you again Gemma Kind regards Donna & Tim Hodges
