I have been learning for a relatively short period of time with David and had no prior experience. I am a mature student which probably means that I learn slightly slower than the kids. I am also keen on development and am trained in this as part of my profession. I like the learning journey so far and am further along than I expected to be. This is because we are learning the required skillsets in a logical and purposeful order. I could probably play more songs now if I just learned chords and went off building that knowledge base but the skillsets I have now mean that I can use lots more techniques and to a better standard. All of my learning has been done remotely too. This has worked well for me.

My son has been having guitar lessons with David for years. He is now 14 and has just passed his grade 5 ABRSM classical guitar. David is a brilliant teacher who has helped him grow in confidence. I would definitely recommend David's guitar school. Tuition delivered by David has always been professional, supportive and friendly with an individual approach. Communication has been excellent either face to face or virtually, also email updates with an extra learning material. I also think the cost of 1:1 lessons is a really good value.
