Ample parking directly outside but it does fill up especially around midday. Daves window display shows off a variety of cuts and there are plenty more treats inside. Loose vegetables are in the fresh air, available for selection. If your need is not immediately to hand. The butcher will try his best to supply the goods from the stock room personally. It is so nice to a local business doing so well and remaining a 'must go to' place for that little bit of quality, only an independent can provide. Friendly, welcoming and overflowing with advise on all the produce for sale. You will not be disappointed by visiting this shop.

My experience of Dave's Family butchers was buying some leeks from them last year which after cooking were so tough as to be inedible, I told them the next time I went in the shop and the response was "what do you expect this time of year", needless to say I don't shop there any more, the butcher in Wickham has more choice of meats of better quality - and for my veg - there's plenty of choice of where to buy them.
