Well I don’t even know where to start. There is not one bad thing I could say about this venue. Spectacular, amazing view & perfect. If you are thinking of this wedding venue any of the wedding planners are amazing but I would like to give a special shout out to Charley (ask for Charley she is a dream to work with). I imagine I was probably one of their most craziest of brides and definitely kept everyone on their toes. My partner Harry and I decided to get married very quickly within 10 weeks and I thought it would be very hard for my dream wedding to be achieved but I was so wrong. Davenport think of every option that you want or need. No matter how small my questions were or any concerns that I had during the weeks before the wedding the team at Davenport would be on hand. Even though planning this wedding quickly I had three meetings to discuss the wedding and had numerous phones calls. It is almost like my wedding was the only one being planned which we all know that’s not the case. As this is the most important day of your life (or well was for me) having built a connection with the team at Davenport they truly understood my vision for the day and oh my did they make my dreams come true. They make you feel special and you can never ask is too much. On the day of my wedding I completely let go of my organised brain and my wedding planner Charley took the reins, she would keep me on track throughout the day make sure they I did not miss any moment. Everyone who works at Davenport are considerate and very caring. Happy to help with anything. We had a taylor made drinks package as we decided to have a dry wedding (which might I add the mocktails they created for this were to die for and I think I need to get the recipes) The food was amazing from having capes to the three course meal and then finally having pizza in the evening. I will forever be grateful to Charley and all the team at Davenport House for creating the most amazing wedding for Harry and myself

We recently got married at Davenport House and we cannot fault the whole experience one bit. From the moment we stepped into the venue for the first time we were blown away. The staff are so friendly and passionate about what they do. Being able to meet a number of times leading up to the big day really helped calm our nerves, and the menu tasting evening was amazing too. On the run up to the wedding, queries/questions were answered instantly by our brilliant wedding planner Charley and the day itself couldn't have gone any more smoothly. The venue was set-up exactly how we wanted it to be, the timings of the day were spot on and our guests could not fault the venue, service and staff one bit. The kebabs for the evening food, served in the secret tepee, are the ones to go for! We've received so many compliments and we are so lucky we were able to get married at Davenport House and would like to thank all of the staff again for their passionate and professional service! We hope to return again soon.

Beautiful venue but if your staying the night there is no tea or coffee in your room, no tv. The breakfast is continental and really nice,ham cheese grapes, fruit. The view is amazing... but be warned the drinks are over £10 each just for a single bacardi and coke (London prices).

Davenport, what a venue! From the first time we stepped in we knew it was the venue for us. The people were incredible helpful, the venue speaks for itself and the grounds are stunning. The whole wedding planning process was seamless, Megan our wedding planner was faultless and ensured our day went ahead without a glitch! They kept in touch with our suppliers and ensured we didn’t have a single thing to worry about! All of our guests were amazed with the venue and have said it was one of the best places they’ve ever been to for a wedding! We can’t wait to come back to visit, thank you all so much! Charley and the whole team at Davenport were brilliant throughout our wedding day. This included Lizzie welcoming me and the girls the night before, Megan making sure we were up and ready in the morning, and Charley checking my dress looked perfect and checking in with both me and Luke throughout the day with her reassuring and calm manner. We had no doubt that you would all look after us and make us feel so special, so thank you. We were also really grateful to the staff that served us on the day. In particular, the lovely lady behind the bar and the gentleman from Seville who both showed great enthusiasm and friendliness towards us. (Apologies our memory of specific names is not great!). We want to take a moment to thank Ian and the chefs for the amazing food they served that we are still talking about today – the beef and the mashed potato were real highlights! Ian is the perfect gentleman too who organised the perfect gluten and dairy free menu (and biscuits!) for our special day😊. And we can’t forget the amazing breakfast the next morning, with the most helpful lady who brought out a brand-new toaster just for Luke’s g-free bread which made us all so happy! Thank you so much!

We had the most perfect wedding day! We went to view Davenport in search of our wedding venue and from the minute we pulled up we knew it was the one for us. Set in the most beautiful location with stunning views no matter where you look and the house itself is just beautiful. Everything was made super easy and Megan (our wedding planner) was absolutely fantastic at getting back to us if there were any questions. On the days itself we had absolutely nothing to worry about as everything is done for you and the staff are very experienced, professional, helpful and super friendly. The accommodation was beautiful and everything was immaculate. The food was amazing and I think nearly all of our guests have commented on what a beautifully cooked meal it was and the kebabs in the evening went down an absolute treat! Our guests had such a great day and were looked after incredibly well too. I would highly recommend to any couples looking for their dream wedding venue as you wont be disappointed!
