I have been in the massage profession for around 6 years. Trained in different modalities and techniques. If you have experience with the massage profession you know this is a physical job and demanding on our bodies and emotions. Some therapists give up because of this. Recently I questioned myself if I am in the right profession and if it is for me. I decided to go back to the basics. I did the combined course, and spent 2 weeks with Dave. It is absolutely worth every penny. Dave thought about everything about how to start a successful massage practice from zero to a confident, professional therapist. His secret ingredients are about how to change your game, how to save your body and emotions, and how to put it all together (without losing the main purpose/meaning). After many years of being a busy therapist and teacher he "still" has passion and patience for people and massage and teaching. He adds humour to his teaching too. Highly recommend him!

I attended this course last week and absolutely loved it. Dave as a teacher, for me, was perfect. He explained things in a nice and simple way and during the practicals split the training into him showing us and then us practicing. If you’re looking for a weeks intensive course where you can learn the skills needed to practice massage and take away some business skills at the same time, then this is the course for you. Dave is professional but also makes the learning environment fun and as I don’t tend to learn from sitting down with a book and written exams this style of learning was perfect for me.

I started seeing Dave last year at his practice in Hastings and found he is very good at what he does and the benefits of Raynor Massage are huge. When recently considering a career change, although having no experience in this area, I decided to take the plunge and book onto one of his courses. I'm so pleased I did! The Devon course is very comprehensive, which gave me the confidence to proceed with a new business venture on returning home. I found the learning well paced with time in the evenings for extra practice if you wanted to go over anything. The surroundings in Devon are beautiful and we were very well looked after by The Retreat People, delicious food, morning yoga and space to chill out during your learning all made this a wonderful learning environment. I found the course literature, made up of text and online videos particularly helpful to refer back to and consolidate learning once returning home. I have made some good friends and found this a really worthwhile and positive experience. Thank you!

Dave Taylor is a wonderful teacher and I cannot recommend his courses highly enough. I completed his Certificate training in Dublin and am currently waiting to do his Diploma course in London. I didn’t want the first one to end! But I also cannot wait to get back to it because Dave makes everything very straight forward, he makes the learning fun through his jokes and friendly personality, and his vast knowledge and experience means you get the best and most reliable, hands on training.
