Money grabbing and unhelpful. Place is sterile, no atmosphere. Majority of students are from abroad and you are in a serious minority if you're a UK student. Only like 3 other English students I met. A great deal are from South east Asia. Lift never worked. It's very expensive and I wouldn't recommend it.

Pretty outdated student dorm. Paints are peeling off, bathroom door is half gone and calcified tap, toilet doesn’t flush sometimes and no ventilation. Low quality mattress, you are basically sleeping on springs. No air-con and very bad insulation, it gets extremely hot in the summer and opening the window would not help, even if it does, you will be awaken by the construction and traffics in the early morning. Hygiene is also a big problem, but it can be easily sorted, by cleaning yourself. Here comes the plus: nice shower, hot water and good pressure. Good location, bus station right in front that takes you to central, and plenty restaurants and shops nearby. Though it’s abit of a shady area, but it actually feels safe walking on the street. No moldy or weird smell in the room. Staff are friendly, Dan has been quite helpful and approachable. Overall, you get used to it after a while but there are better options out there

This review is for Galaxy-point stores galaxypointstores.com . Cant seem to find this place on google maps. The Website does not give an exact post code, only stating SE17. On checking I found this address links to a University Student Accommodation building. Would the business owner of Galaxy-point stores please put the whole post code on the website, this would help your customers find you or write to you if need be. If Im finding a Uni accommodation building, others will find the same or similar buildings near by, for example Galaxy Restaurant or the Oriental Food store which appears to be within the SE17 post code area. Both above mentioned stores came up on searches due to incomplete post code and confusing door numbers, which states 434 Dashwood Studios and 126 Walworth Road SE17. So Galaxy-point stores please check your address on your website and correct it for your customers. Or please correct me if Im wrong so that I can correct my posting here.

I have just arrived and as many of the reviews mentioned, the room is DIRTY. It looks as though no one entered the room for a couple of months, there are dead bugs on the bed, on the table and the floors. The kitchen is in a horrendous shape, looks like someone poured acid all over it with mould and cracks on the kitchen wall. Everything is just old and dirty and has not been renovated in years. I have previously stayed in a university dorm room which was 400 pounds and looks like a hotel in comparison to this. Overall, I have asked for another room and I'm currently praying that it will be in a better condition than this this.
