    Booked the tasting menu. What a revelation. The food was gorgeous. Service was exceptional not rushed and the details of the food explained. Congratulations to the chef and team for creating an exceptional menu. We were not rushed and were the the last to leave. Had a fabulous experience and would highly recommend.     Absolutely outstanding food, professional service, great atmosphere, comfortable and modern surroundings and a great menu. Extensive wine list with some very varied and interesting selections, and they make sure your glass is constantly charged! Not pushy, just attentive. Nowhere this side of Leeds can hold a light to the Grand Cru, in a league of its own. Cannot fault any part of the experience of being here!

    Our first visit. I have heard so many good comments about this wonderful restaurant, the food, atmosphere, service and the history of its development and owners. My expectations were high: I'm pleased to say I/we were not disappointed. On arrival my eyes were greeted with a very stylish presentation of colours, reminiscent of the Art Decor period of the amazing 1920s. Firstly the service was faultless credit to the owners and training provided to the relatively young staff - well done to all. On to the food, well proportioned from starter to desert, presentation, exciting the taste buds. Food was cooked with delicious flavours developing throughout with time to relax during each course. A very enjoyable time, looking forward to our next visit and trying the other dishes. Excellent ten out of ten from me.
