I recently had the pleasure of visiting Darul Ummah masjid during Ramadan and I must say, it was a truly beautiful experience. The atmosphere was serene and the recitation was absolutely amazing. The devotion and dedication of the imam and the congregation were truly inspiring. However, I couldn't help but notice that the facilities haven't seen much improvement since the masjid first opened its doors in 1996. While the occasional cosmetic improvements have been made, I think it would be wonderful to see some expansion and improvements in services for disabled and marginalized members of our communities. I say this with the utmost respect and admiration for the masjid and its members. I truly believe that Darul Ummah has the potential to become an even more inclusive and welcoming space for all members of our community, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds. I hope that this suggestion is taken into consideration, as I know it would make a world of difference to those who currently feel excluded or marginalized. Thank you for all that you do, and for providing such a wonderful space for prayer and reflection.
