The biggest and best endorsement we can give is that our dog is always so happy when he has stayed here. It's like his little holiday when we take ours! The staff are very professional and give owners the highest standards of customer care, the little touchs like photos of our dog whilst we are away with updates of how he is getting on are great, and the animals the highest standards of attention and care. They really take time to get to know the dog and owners so they can identify what works best for everyone. It's a pleasure dealing with all the staff there. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend these Kennels.

We have been using Darrington Dog Kennels for a couple of years now for our young Boarder Collie. Helen and the teams are fantastic with her. She's an anxious dog so sometimes can be tricky but they took the time to spend some proper time with her to make her feel at ease. Darrington Dog Boarding hold a very special place in our hearts. They also own Pontefract Dog Rescue which is where we found our fur baby Hela. We were apprehensive leaving her in boarding Kennels but we really didn't have to worry. The same amazing staff look after the boarders as well as the rescue dogs. Hela actually enjoys going which is just amazing news for us. We would totally recommend these wonderful people 💜

We were nervous of putting our dog into kennels as he was a rescue and really struggled with containment issues when we first bought him home, but we explained all of his issues on his trial and felt we were listened to and the staff have been so caring ever since. Snoop isn’t at all nervous now, and quite happily goes with the staff everytime we drop him off wagging his tail, which to me says everything we need to know! He even greets the male staff with some mild enthusiasm now - we told them he was nervous of men so I feel like they’ve gone out of their way to ease his mind. Honestly so relieved we found somewhere reliable that he is happy in, I know he’s in safe hands and can relax when he is there.
