Had a great experience tonight at the dark horse. The food was amazing as was the atmosphere. We decided to stay and have a few drinks at the bar after our meal and it was great to watch Matt and Rhys work their magic with the cocktails. True professionals, masters of their craft. Not the first the time we’ve been here and certainly won’t be the last. Highly recommend this for a quality night out.

Darkhorse in Stratford London is one of our favourite places to go for a treat meal. We have visited many times and we miss it a lot since we moved out of London. My girlfriend has severe allergies to nuts, eggs and sesame seeds and this is probably the best place we’ve ever eaten at that accommodates her allergen needs. They have their own menu for allergens but the staff are also very helpful and willing to talk to the chefs and make some adjustments or substitutions if needed. This has made my girlfriend feel very comfortable and relaxed every time we visit. I also love this place and I think they have some of the best food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. (the onglet steak is amazing) The prices are reasonable for the quality and the service is always friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great food and for anyone concerned about allergies. Hoping to visit again in next weekend!

Expensive non-pasta Italian cuisine that’s more like mediocre pub food. Dishes are poorly executed and any flavour is due to excessive salt. Slow and disorganised service.

We booked a table for 10 before we went off to the matinee of ABBA Voyage and had the most amazing time. The food was exceptional (so tasty from the charcoal oven) and the service was just brilliant - really friendly and very efficient.
