I cannot recommend Danny highly enough. I booked with him for a 2-day private instruction for myself and my son (aged 11). I had previous experience of a similar weekend in the Peak District and left feeling that it was ok, but not brilliant. Danny immediately put us at our ease, and was brilliant in emphasising that if we weren't having a great time he wasn't doing his job properly. His communicating was brilliant, he had clearly thought very hard about how to tailor the two days to exactly what we wanted to achieve and he seamlessly adjusted as we went on, even when thrown a bit of a curve ball by my son suffering a setback with his confidence. We felt safe and well looked after at all times, but Danny has an impressive way of letting you know you need to rethink things or have missed something without ever making you feel stupid. He was engaging, instructional and good company. My son, who ended up confidently climbing multi-pitch routes, and who always says that the most incredible experiences are merely "good", said, unsolicited, that the two days were "great" and "amazing". We will definitely book again with Danny. First class all around.

CWDI training and assessment - January 2020 - Quality training course with excellent tips and guidance throughout. Assessment was relaxed and non threatening which allowed everybody to excel! Highly recommend Danny for both training and assessment courses - his experience and knowledge is quality!
