I visited on Wednesday with friends as the lunch stop for our motorbike trip. It is at the end of a private road off a bit of an awkward junction but dont give up, just follow the private road and you will find it. There's a decent sized, hard packed surface, car park with a short walk across what was a single line railway track to the actual restaurant area. It's a fantastic venue overlooking the canal with a large internal area, an elevated decking area and table in the lawns. We all agreed it would make one heck of a house!! The staff were very helpful and the service was good however it is a bit pricey for standard lunch fare starting at about £12 and increasing for what would normally be £9 and upwards in other similar venues. The jacket potatoes are more reasonably priced, decent sizes with a very nice side salad. The food was good albeit overpriced. Apparently the disused railway line is great for cyclists and walkers being tarmacked and pretty level ad train lines need to be. I will visit again with the wife on a future motorbike ride.
