Beware of the dragon at Danielles Rayleigh! Ordered an item to collect. Arrived there at 4.45pm, 15 mins before closing. Joined the small queue outside. Within minutes my wife was set upon by a member of their staff - an over officious dragon of a women who talked down to her in front of the whole queue for arriving 'so close' to their closing time and questioning why she hadn't collected the item in previous days when they had been open late. Her manner was nothing short of appalling. The whole queue were so taken aback by her rudeness that one of the other customers had to step in to defend my wife. We complained once inside to be met by more rudeness. Danielles clearly have a monopoly locally and seem happy to treat their customers with utter disdain, in the knowledge that they can't go elsewhere. Our advice to Danielles (and their dragon) is, if you don't like customers, don't do customer service! Some decent competition locally might help her remember her manners, but we won't hold our breath!
