Big thanks to Daniel and Team. My dear Mum passed away in 2022 and the Wake funeral service hear in the UK was amazing and I'm so thankful for the help. I had to do a repatriation afterwards with taking my Mum back home to Ghana for final burial and, they really went above and beyond to make things ok and smooth for my mum's journey from UK to Ghana, connecting with the funeral Directors in Ghana, and had amazing communication. Daniel Mercer’s funeral services were absolutely brilliant. We recently buried my father and the level of professionalism, empathy and ‘going the extra mile’ for our family was outstanding. This high level of service was evident right from the start when we were struggling to get my father removed from our family home the day he passed. Daniel helped us during the middle of the night when no one else would help - he even made calls for us on our behalf trying to get the GP’s to do their job properly. The small details make a big difference during vulnerable moments like these, and we found Daniels sensitivity to our needs just perfect. He took the time to explain the options available to us so we could make informed choices in our own time with no pressure. His recommendations for the Celebrant, best florist, order of service printer etc were first class. And his staff on the day were excellent. Most touching, were the unexpected opportunities he presented (that other undertakers don’t offer) - such as literally being able to seal the coffin the night before - this meant a lot to us. Many people have commented since about how beautiful the funeral was and we would like express our gratitude to Daniel and his staff for making it so.

If you're reading this review because you're looking for a professional, caring, compassionate, organised and friendly funeral director, you don't need to look any further. Choosing Daniel as our funeral director was one of the best decisions we made, as we started making arrangements for our lovely mum's funeral. Daniel was kind and understanding, and he managed to bring together all the ideas we had about how we wanted Mum's funeral to be. He was very accommodating, nothing was too much to ask, and he also thought of things we wouldn't have thought of ourselves, such as leaving birthday, Christmas and Mother's Day cards in with Mum. The day of the funeral itself went absolutely seamlessly under Daniel's direction, and we could not be happier with the send-off we gave Mum. It was everything we wanted for her, and everything she deserved. Thank you so much to Daniel and the team. Your care and help at one of the most important times of our lives meant so very much to us.

Huge thank you to Daniel and the team, together with Daphne, Minister at St Mildreds Church, for a first class service provided for the funeral arrangements for our dad. It was my first experience of arranging a funeral. Daniel was so supportive, sensitive to our needs and guided us through the process with full explanations, advice and guidance whilst also being extremely well organised and efficient. Daphne too was very attentive to our needs and spent considerable time with us discussing the eulogy and the funeral order of service. Nothing was too much trouble and they both made the whole process both comforting and stress free. We highly recommend!

Best service ever from Daniel and his team. We used Daniel for my Mum's funeral. He was brilliant from start to finish (see my brother's review (Luke Brown). Her sister sadly passed away a few months later and her young daughters (both in early 20s) were left to arrange the funeral. I put them in touch with Daniel who had a Zoom call with them to explain everything and he was amazing. He made them feel very relaxed about everything and took all responsibilities from them. He kept them involved the whole way through and was always in contact with them. I can't recommend him and this company enough. He honestly takes all the stress and worry out of arranging a funeral and makes is a lovely experience. I would 100% recommend him to anybody needing these services and will always contact him when needed (which I hope isn't too often!) - but I know when I do he will be amazing and take the burden away from me and my family members.
